COVID-19
Please view this page for the latest information regarding COVID-19 and it’s effect on Tenpin Bowling across Queensland. The information and links on this page were last updated on: Friday the 2nd of September 2022.
Centres
All centres that are associated with Tenpin Bowling Association of Queensland are now open. Please speak to centres directly to confirm if they have any restrictions in place such as booking in advance or venue specific limits.
Are we back to normal?
Not quite! Although community transmission is very low and the vaccine roll out has commenced, Queenslanders still need to implement hygiene and health practices to continue to protect themselves and others from COVID-19 – think of this as the “new normal”.
Finding the balance of re-activating sport and recreation activities and keeping everyone safe is still the priority.
Current Restrictions
Current Restrictions which directly affect Tenpin Bowling Centres are shown below:
- Indoor premises: One person per 2m2 (e.g. restaurants, cafés, pubs, clubs, museums, art galleries, places of worship, convention centres and Parliament House), including standing eating and drinking. - Indoor events: 500 people permitted at indoor events with a COVID Safe Event Checklist. Larger events require a COVID Safe Plan.
